Course Description

Diversity in Manitoba is a 4-week course. You will learn about multiculturalism and diversity in our province. This course provides a  great opportunity to practise speaking, specifically participating in discussions.

The course has been designed for CLB 5, but anyone can join the course and work to the best of their abilities. The e-Facilitator will help you personalize your learning.

How this course works

This course has been flipped. This means you do a certain amount of study and preparation BEFORE you join a live class. So, each week you will complete a set of activities and attend a live class to practice and review what you have learned. You are expected to complete the activities BEFORE joining the class.

Technical Requirements

You will need a computer with internet access, a headset with a microphone and a webcam (optional). We are using BigBlueButton to deliver the weekly classes. You can read how to join events with BigBlueButton and test it out in the BigBlueButton demo on our website. Please make sure you have tested your microphone and webcam well BEFORE the class starts.

How to Join

  1. Add the course to your profile. This tells the e-Facilitator that you have joined the course.
  2. Start working on the activities by selecting an appropriate week below.

Note: Participation available to registered users only.
