    • An average Canadian family spends $500+ on food a month.
    • Money saving tips:
      • Make a grocery list.Check your pantry and fridge before going to the store. Plan your meals to incorporate ingredients you already have. Make a list of the items you need.
      • Use coupons when grocery shopping.
      • Find coupons in newspapers.
    • Look for discounted products at supermarkets.
      • Buy a lot and save them if they do not spoil easily.
      • Always check the “best before” dates.
      • Check special offers at grocery stores. They may have promotions that offer discounts on certain days or for certain products.
    • Go to garage sales and thrift stores.
      • There are many garage sales in summer.
      • Thrift stores have discount days where you can get 50% off.
    • Don’t get cable TV
