Let’s practice using the following clothing idioms:

      1. Dressed (up) to the nines
      2. fit like a glove
      3. to roll up one’s sleeves
      4. wear the pants
      5. take your hat off to someone

When was the last time you dressed up to the nines? What was the occasion? What were you wearing?
Do you have an item in your wardrobe that fits you like a glove?
Who wears the pants in your family?
When was the last time you were impressed by others’ deeds? What actions can make you take your hat off to someone?

Answer these questions to practice your writing and using the idioms.
