Natalia:That was quite an election this past week wasn’t it?
Dan:It sure was! I was expecting a hung parliament, it turned out to be a one-horse race!
Natalia:Were you happy with the result?
Dan:I suppose, but I was hoping my local candidate would say something of more substance. He seemed to just toe the party line.
Natalia:I guess he wanted to avoid a political football.
Dan:Probably. Sometimes it’s best to play it safe and avoid saying something politically incorrect.
Natalia:You can say that again!
