Iwona: | Wow! Can you believe this is the last week of summer vacation for the kids? |
Johanna: | No kidding! The summer just flew by. |
Iwona: | What does Samantha think about going back to school next week? |
Johanna: | You know her, she’s very happy! |
Iwona: | True! She’s such a bookworm! |
Johanna: | How about Roger? |
Iwona; | Well, my husband and I had a good talk with him last night. He understands that if he stops cutting classes, he could do very well. He promised us that this is the year he would hit the books hard! |
Johanna: | I am sure he’ll do very well. Hey, how about you? You’re going to take a course in the fall, too, right? |
Iwona: | That’s right. I’m looking forward to it, but I’m a little nervous. You know, I haven’t cracked a book in years. |
Johanna: | Don’t worry, I’m sure you’ll pass with flying colours. |
