Brenda: | So, how is your new class? Are they treating you well? |
Jessica: | I would say I have a very enthusiastic group. Whenever we start a new theme, they are on the edges of their seats. |
Brenda: | Ah, good, because I remember you were complaining about them being late with their assignments… |
Jessica: | Oh, those were just a couple of lazybones… They don’t like tests much. But they do get excited about new projects. They put their heart and soul into them. |
Brenda: | Yeah, nowadays you have to work hard for your education. My son has just started his first year at the university and he is so motivated about his studies! |
Jessica: | Oh, really? |
Brenda: | Uh-huh, he used to be a couch potato, and I could never get him to do anything. Now, he has a totally different attitude. |
Jessica: | That’s great! What program is he in? |
Brenda: | He’s taking business administration. He’s been placed at one of the banks through the co-op program that they have there. I can tell you that he eats, sleeps and breathes this job. |
Jessica: | Yeah, the job market is so competitive now, there is no time to slack off. |
Brenda: | So true! |
