Study the Powerpoint Presentation below. Do you recognize any of the idioms? Use a dictionary to look up their meaning. You can also google them.

Step 2

Read the dialogue to understand the correct usage of the idioms.

MikeSara, I am glad we found each other.
SaraTrue! I can’t imagine living without you. I’d like to bare my soul to you.
Mike I still remember when we first met at Alisa’s party. I didn’t know anyone in this city, and I felt like a fish out of water.
SaraAnd Alisa was cheesed off when she saw us together on the dance floor.
MikeShe went bananas and created quite a scene at the office too.
SaraReally! You never told me about that.
MikeI didn’t want to talk about it. I was so cheesed off by her behaviour.
SaraShe didn’t reply to my calls either. She really had a chip on her shoulder.
 Mike I think so. I don’t care about anyone else as long as I am with you.
SaraI feel the same way!
