Silia | Please switch off the light. I have to wake up early in the morning. |
Dan | I am studying for my Math test tomorrow. I will be burning the midnight oil tonight. |
Silia | No way! I am very sleepy. You are a real night owl. |
Dan | Thank you for the compliment. |
Silia | You should have studied yesterday instead of going out with your friends. |
Dan | It was Jeff’s birthday, and I can’t miss the night on the town. |
Silia | By the way! Did you buy a gift for him as you didn’t have much money to buy a brand name watch? |
Dan | I bought one from a fly-by-night store, and he liked it. |
Silia | Well, that was smart. I request you again; please call it a night. |
Dan | Ok. Give me twenty more minutes and I will study the rest of the topics tomorrow. |
Silia | Thank you. |
