Yuliana: | Look at you! Why do you look so happy today? |
Tatiana: | Well, yesterday, out of the blue, I received an email from IRCC regarding my brother’s permanent resident application. It has been accepted! I called him right away. His jaw dropped when he heard about it. We haven’t heard anything from IRCC for the last 11 months. |
Yuliana: | That’s great! So that’s why you look so excited. Congratulations! |
Tatiana: | Thanks! My husband was struck dumb when he got the news though. He has some personal issues with my brother, and he doesn’t want him to be here in Canada. |
Yuliana: | Oh! Then it must be a difficult situation for you. |
Tatiana: | Can you imagine my husband did a double take when I showed him the email? Anyway, I am so happy that my brother will join me soon. |
Yuliana: | No kidding, this news must’ve knocked your socks off! Let’s go out and celebrate the occasion. |
