ErumHey, did you hear that Harry got promoted at his new job?
TatianaWow! So fast, I can’t believe it!
ErumI am not that surprised. He’s always ready to give’r at work! He’s such a keener.
TatianaI don’t know about that! I think he’s just very self-serving.
ErumWhy would you say that?
TatianaHe’s always trying to do things to get on the good side of his boss so he can advance at work. The other day, for example, he gave his boss his one and only chesterfield.
ErumI guess that is a little extreme!
TatianaNo kidding! His wife is not very happy, because now they have to watch TV sitting on the floor.
JohannaHey you two! What’s the kerfuffle?
TatianaWell, Erum and I are discussing Harry’s rapid advancement at work. I think he advanced because he’s self-serving, but Erum thinks he’s just a keener, a real hard worker.
JohannaIt’s not important to me. I just wish I was making as much money as he is now!
Erum and TatianaHmmmmmm ….. that’s a real good point!
