Jana | Any plans for the weekend? |
Colette | I am thinking of going to Gimli to study for my exams. |
Jana | What? Have you gone mad? Who drives an hour and a half to a recreational resort and studies there? |
Colette | Don’t you think it will be peaceful and quiet? No distractions at all. |
Jana | I don’t know what you are talking about. Your mind wanders when you are hungry. Let’s go out and have lunch. It’s almost noon now. |
Colette | Let me check if I have enough money as my payday is tomorrow. I have six dollars in my wallet and a toonie in my pocket. |
Jana | I have a loonie too. |
Colette | Let’s check out the corner store. They sell cheap veggie sandwiches and dainties. |
Jana | I’m not in a mood for a sandwich. Let’s go to Timmies, eh? I will have a double-double. |
Colette | Sure. |
