Work on the peer review activity

In a peer review activity, we will practise reviewing writing samples of other learners in the course.

A peer is usually a person of the same age, status, or ability.

Peer-review means that you review fellow learner’s work and that your work is revised by that learner.

Using peer review strategies, you can learn to reflect on your own work, self-edit, and assist others with constructive feedback.

Your task

  1. Review key elements of peer review in presentation slides below.
  2. Review How to Write a Thank-you Card workshop materials and write a thank-you email.
  3. Send this email to a fellow learner and ask for a review.
  4. Review an email that you received from another learner. Remember to follow the advice in the presentation slides.
