Mom:Hi Alex! Good to see you!
Alex:Hello Mom!
Mom:Hey, the election is around the corner, have you decided who you’re going to vote for?
Alex:No, I could not care less who wins. In fact, I think we could all use less politics in our life!
Mom:True, but remember last election? Some people who didn’t vote wished they could turn back time and do things differently.
Alex:Ah, yes, because many voted for that politician who lied to them and did nothing for them.
Mom:Yes, apparently, he could sell ice to Eskimos but kept no promises.
Alex:Don’t they all?
Mom:Yeah, to some extend yes, but still, we need to do our homework and know what they stand for and vote!
Alex:I guess you are right. Maybe I will vote after all. Thanks. I got to get back to the library.
Mom:Great. Well, glad you could stop by!
Alex:Me too. Bye Mom!
Mom:Bye!
